I like gemstones because there are so many types and they are all so interesting. I think that every person has an inner gem, and I hope I can help you find yours. Gemstones can be found in so many shapes and sizes… just like people.

Some of my favorite gems are quartz, garnet, and peridot. There are many types of quartz, like milky quartz, smokey quartz, rose quartz, and lemon quartz. There are also some gems that you may not know are quartz, like amethyst, citrine, and jasper. Garnet is a dark red gem that is formed in very hot places, like near lava, which is really cool. Lastly, Peridot is a light green(BTW that’s my favorite color) gem. I was originally told that peridot cannot be found on Earth, but another reliable source told me you could find it on Earth. Right now, I’m torn, but peridot is still really cool!
